What does "Exclude from Calculation" button do? in Define Scale tab in 360 survey questionnaire/package.

If you wish to exclude any option from report calculation then select the Exclude from Calculation option (usually options such as Not Applicable, Don’t Know, etc are excluded from calculation). If you exclude any option from calculation that option will not be used in calculation when calculating any scores in the 360 report.
