How to add steps in a learning journey?

For each step in a learning journey, you will need to add a step title, description, select/ add the respective content and select if the step will be mandatory or optional for the user.

If a step is mandatory then the user will need to complete the step to move ahead in the journey. 

If a step is optional then the user will see a skip option on the step, they can skip the step to move ahead in the journey.


Here is how the title, description & skip option will appear to the participant.


Adding steps in a learning journey:

Inside the learning journey, click on “Add” to select the type of step you want to add.



Adding a Text, Video or External Link, or PDF Document:

Select "Text, video, or External Link" or "PDF Document" from the drop-down menu. Enter the Title and description.

Add your text/ link or pdf document.

Select if this step is mandatory or optional for the user. Then complete the setup, and click on “Add Step”.



Adding a Survey/ Event/ Course/ Assessment:

Select “Survey/ Event/ Course/ Assessment” from the drop-down menu. Enter the Title & Description.

Add Content from the drop-down menu.

Note: If you cannot see any option in the drop-down menu, you need to first create a Survey/ Event/ Course/ Assessment in Content Management.

Select if this step is mandatory or optional for the user. Then complete the setup, and click on “Add Step”.
