How to add section(s) or chapter(s) in a course?

Click on the “Add” button inside the course. A drop-down menu shows the options for adding a type of section.

Select a type of section to be added as a chapter. 


If you select “Simple Text Content”, type in a chapter name, a link to access the text, and the duration of the chapter. Save.


If you select “Vimeo”, type in a chapter name, a link to access the video, and the duration of the chapter. You can also provide the transcript for the video if you wish to. Then Save.


If you select “YouTube”, type in a chapter name, a link to access the video, and the duration of the chapter. Then Save.


If you select “PDF”, type in a chapter name, attach a PDF document (Drag & Drop the file or Browse), and the duration of the chapter. You can also provide the Summary text if you wish to. Then Save.


If you select “H5P”, type in a chapter name, a link to access the H5P page, and the duration of the chapter. You can also provide the transcript if you wish to. Then Save.


If you select “On the Job Learning Aid”, type in a chapter name, provide a description for the Learning-Aid,  attach the Learning-Aid file (Drag & Drop the file or Browse), and the duration of the chapter. Then Save.

Once you have created your desired number of sections/modules for a course, you can publish the event. You can now go to Manage Groups to map your content to users.
